This series is meant to communicate my appreciation of life with the viewer.  It is an extension of myself, an unfolding of my experiences, and an opportunity to share my enjoyment of life with others.  Conversations with my wife and friends show up in my work, along with nostalgic American iconography and contemporary imagery often painted from photographs I've taken along the way.

This work combines my love of nostalgic imagery with painting figures, with a trompe l'oeil twist, as seen in the oil and acrylic illusion of chalk and tape on these works.
